Both Mike and Gwyneth Shotwell grew up in California. Mike graduated from the USC School of Architecture in 1966, and Gwyneth from UCLA in 1975. After graduation, Mike served in the Peace Corps in Venezuela, followed by 45 years of private architectural practice, the last 23 of which has been spent as a forensic architect/expert witness. Mike and Gwyneth have worked side by side, raising their two daughters and running their business. Mike's love of Model A's began at age 13 (1955) when he bought his first Model A for $50. In 2009, they moved to Georgia and became even more deeply involved in the antique car collecting world which has become a core part of their social lives. Mike is currently a member of the Atlanta Region CCCA Board of Directors and is the National President of the A400 Model A Group. Gwyneth is the editor of the Southside A's Newsletter which received the honor of being selected 2013 MARC Newsletter of the Year. The Shotwells are currently restoring a 1940 Packard Convertible Coupe.
