Eugene and Kathleen Willingham were born in Newnan, GA, graduating from Newnan High School. A few days before graduation, Eugene began working as a draftsman for the project engineer of an Aluminum fabricating company, designing and constructing a new Aluminum Extrusion & Finishing facility in Newnan. This was the beginning of a 46-year career where Eugene held several positions, including 8 years as Newnan Plant Manager, when the plant had over 1,100 employees. Kathleen attended Mercer University for one year, prior to their marriage, July 4, 1954. She then devoted her life to being a homemaker and mother to their son and daughter. Eugene remembers as a small boy traveling muddy roads in his father's black Tudor. Kathleen grew up with her father's 1929 Roadster which she later inherited. After, Eugene's retirement, the Roadster underwent a body-off restoration which started them on the wonderful Model A hobby road. Besides the '29, they also have a lovely 1931 Victoria.
