Pat and Pam Tyler were raised next door to each other in Sierra Madre, California, and have known each other for 55 years. Although engaged in 1968 they decided to go their separate ways. Pam stayed in southern California and Pat relocated to Alabama where he majored in computer science, married, and raised his children. Pam has been involved in the medical field for over 40 years, the past 20 years spent in clinical research. In 2002, after 35 years, they were reunited, married in 2003, and between them have three daughters and two grandchildren. In her previous life, Pam owned a 1929 Model A Roadster and has never lost the “bug” to own another one someday. This past August they found their car, a 1930 Model A Phaeton, and shortly thereafter joined the Southside A’s, opening up a whole new world of fun and camaraderie.
