John was born in Miami, and his family moved to Fayetteville, GA, in 1983 where he attended High School, and still resides. Afterwards, he attended Griffin Tech, obtaining a degree in Automotive Technology. For 6 years, John worked for an accounting company, before switching to Delta Airlines, where he performs maintenance work on equipment and various vehicles. John’s wife, Tess, received a Masters from GA Southern in Early Childhood Development and a Specialist degree for Gifted Education. She is currently teaching computer science at the elementary level. John was introduced to the mechanical world by his grandfather, who John says, “could build anything.” John’s first mechanical project, at 10 years old, was building a mini-bike, including rebuilding the motor. Both John and Tess are currently restoring their S/W Fordor, and have a 1925 Model T. Other cars they’ve owned in the past include a 1928 Model AR Tudor and a 1929 Business Coupe. John also rebuilds Toyota Land Cruisers in his spare time, and has a casting business, Keller’s Custom Work, that specializes in casting hitch covers.
