Tim grew up in Athens Georgia. After high school, he served with the Army Security Agency. Afterwards, he graduated from Southern Technical Institute. He has worked for Marietta Communications, Scientific Atlanta, Western Electric, and for the last forty years has been the owner of Metropolitan Communications in Carrollton, GA. His interest in Model A’s came through a friend in Athens, GA who had a lot of fun with his own Model A. Tim then acquired his first, a red pickup. He didn’t repaint the truck, however, has redone the engine, transmission, breaks, and front end. He enjoys the club tours and has driven his pickup from Carrollton to Athens and back twice this year and had a ball.
